Resveratrol for Heart Health




Many of us have heard that red wine, in moderation, is good for the heart. By moderation, I mean one glass of red wine per day. Research on red wine has concluded that one of the primary compounds responsible for this effect is Resveratrol. This compound is mostly found in the skin of red and purple grapes. It is transferred to the red wine during the fermentation process. As you can imagine, a lot of wine drinkers accepted this relatively new news with full enthusiasm.
